It's always perplexed me. Think about it;
We kiss your hand, we are looking for a wedding ring, we can find out if you are single or not.
We open the door for you, we are looking at your butt as you walk through the door without you knowing about it.
We help you pick up something you have dropped, a great way to get a sneak peak of your cleavage while you are flustered and not paying attention.
Am I right, or just a perv ?

I think Bubba is right. What he says makes sense. Believe me, being a woman I did not even think on those lines. A very good food for thought.
After giving all of your points a serious thought, I feel that even if a man checks out a woman using all of the methods you mentioned, I would be fine with it as far as he is behaving in a gentleman like fashion. Men anyways,check out women so what is the big deal. At least, this guy does not make it obvious. LOL

my boyfriend kisses my hand all the time... :) ... but more playfully than romantic! or when he messes up and he knows i'm mad, he'll kiss my hand and hold it close to his heart and smile really big.. haha..
anyways, i think ur question is quite valid: the thing is, whether or not a man has agendas such as checking a woman's assets out or not, the important thing is that a Man learns to treat a woman Well, with class, respect, chivalry..... and yes, it is somewhat if a "dance" of sorts, where men and women play that games to see Who is "worth" dating, and eventually becoming closer. time will tell if the guy truly is a perv, or has true intentions.. hence the game women play (or should play), which is to close her legs until the guy proves he is worth more than just a physical attraction.
:) long story short, when chivalry dies, relationships, romance, everythign kinda deteriorates. come on boys and girls, let's all be Classy Men and Respectable Women, and dance together to find true partners that Match us.. not just a fling or sexual encounter.. that doesn't stay too fun for long, and along the way u end up looking used!

You destroy the very concept of chivalry. A truly chivalrous man would never do the things you suggest. Rather, I would say that chivalry is the way for women to check men out. If a man is chivalrous, he is worth the time to get to know better.
