Hope you don't pull this question like the last one I answered!

We invaded Iraq because during a time when the United States was recovering from the tremendous blow that was 9/11, Iraq and Saddam Hussein was an instability that was giving the everyday American something to panic about.

Some things about Iraq & Saddam:

1) Saddam was a genocidal, egotistical dictator that time and time again proved himself to be an instability in Iraq.

2) Iraq had WMDs. Besides the ones we found in the summer of 2006 (chemical weapons that were degraded but still dangerous. Weapons that were said to have been destroyed). It has been said by retired Iraqi General Georges Sada (worked just under Saddam Hussein) that Iraq transported its more dangerous weapons of mass destruction to Syria, just prior to the U.S-led invasion of Iraq. There was a reason Saddam was not being cooperative with U.N weapon inspectors.

3) Just because we went after a more visible target (Iraq/Saddam) does not mean that we forgot about Osama Bin Laden. The Middle East is a big place. A *huge* place with thousands of places to hide. Even with all our technology and soldiers, it would still be a while before we would be able to find him. If he is even still in the Middle East. The world is a big place and a single individual tiny. But while he hides in caves, making home movies, the entire world is looking for him. And he knows it.

So...

Saddam was threat to the 'stability' of the Middle East and was taken care of. It was the United States' responsibility to do so because, well quite frankly, he was only *in* power because of our support. He proved himself to be a bad guy and when he didn't change we removed him.

I think thats it...enjoy that!

you may guess that when Bin weighted down is stuck, he will desire that we may draw close him. he will be ours, and which ability a lengthy slow tortureous lack of life in a maximum safe practices federal detention center. he will be poked, prodded, isolated, and evaluated to lack of life. Or, he will finally end up in Gitmo. Neither might want to be more effective perfect than lack of life.
