Good afternoon. To make a long story short, I am a 22 year old female and I have been dating a 43 year old guy for about 1 1/2 months. I never thought I would find someone I liked, and who understood me after my divorce but- we found eachother and things have been GREAT. Obviously the age difference is an issue but we have so many similar interests that it doesn't really bother us at this stage.
Like I said- Things have been great. He even gave me a key to his house and we have talked about eventually moving in together but in the past few weeks he has had 3 little "freak out" episodes concerning marriage. He doesn't get angry or violent or anything but he will take something completely innocent that I said and take it as I am trying to push him into getting serious. I really do like him, He is a wonderful man but I don't move that fast!!!

So I guess my question is- Does it sound like I am doing something to trigger his reactions, or is he possibly the one thinking about getting

serious and he is like, internally fighting with himself?

I really do want us to keep seeing eachother so any help would be great. I am really just trying to understand without freaking him out any further. Thanks in advance. :-)

Well. from my expertise, I can see that he just wants to get his snake in your cage, harsh, but true.

Sounds like hes the one confused...I met a guy where hes 13 years older than me and I wanted to be friends with him, but he wanted more. I told him no because we had nothing in common and I had to make the decision to not be friends because he couldn't handle to be just friends.
Take the time to step back and see what he does if he tries pushing a more serious relationship then you will know for sure from his mixed messages.
It sounds like hes mixing your messages so you'll ask and not him.
