Sometimes I think they cheat because they want to feel like they still have "game". Others might really care about the person emotionally, but no longer physically...so they seek out physical satisfaction...and then are sorry when their emotional love finds out. But you're right, people shouldn't cheat...but it happens a lot because sometimes its easy for people to try to get away with something than fess up. Thats why I think, anyway.

The answer varies depending on the person. Some cheat to hurt others, some want to end a relationship, some people don't want a monogamous relationship but they don't want to give up what the person that their with who does, and there is always those mistakes you make when your mad, upset, depressed, or a little of them all.

lack of impulse control. they FORGET what the outcome will be and don't think past the fling to the consequences. we live in a culture of instant gratification. we don't like to wait for anything. same thing with relationships: if you're in one that requires some work and something tasty crosses your path, it's much easier to meet your temporary needs with someone new and fun than actually work on the relationship you have.

Just like kids..... They jump at temptation, and they don't think of the consequences at the time. Some people like to take risks and think they can get away with it and if they do the 1st time they think "gee that was easy" and they keep on doing it until they eventually do get caught.

The thrill of the chase. It's like getting high. The first time you try it and get away with doing it, it's fun, after that you just keep doing it, and get so used to doing it that you start to get sloppy, and get caught.

Sex is like drugs, if you think about it, they need to lay with other women or men. because they thinking to much about there body. and not thinking of family or anything that standing there way. My idea now day, i want to stay away from sex and not think about it. When i find the right person, i will have as much love as i can, if i want to have it. but as if my age 20 yrs old, i don't think i should have any type of desire of having sex. because I'm more of indifferent as if for now. to many dumb people out there. Think as if sex is Drugs.
