is it possible to get a knot in your arm? i have a big lump in my right forearm (i am a righty) and it hurts to type... and i feel a big lump there and when i touch it it hurts too... what is this? anythign bad?

Muscle spasms and tendon inflammation can both cause knots to develop any place in the body where there are muscles or tendons. Neither of these conditions are a serious medical problem, but they can become a serious problem if they don't go away, and pain keeps you from using your arm normally. Less commonly, knots could be caused by a tumor or cyst.
