If it has been kept cold it should be OK for a very long time. But for a quality picture it should be done with in a year after taking the pictures.

I have developed a roll of film 15 years after is was used. It was 110 film (no longer used anymore).

Well I have 30 rolls from when my kids was kids my oldest is now 21 So along time.I have been taking 2 rolls in at a time when I got to the Grocery store and it was amazing to see how little my kids once was.Oh it was nice going thru all those memories.

I have developed 35mm film that was a little over a year old.The pictures came out find on most of the rolls but one got double exposed without my knowledge.It's best to develop it as soon as you can.

i just found 5 rolls of film undeveloped ,from 4 years ago and had them done .and they turned out great the pics

As long as you keep in a complete dry place.

the exp date on it will say, after that time the colors will seprate, yellow megenta and cyan are three colors that will fade away, best to develop by exp date

i think if kept in the frezzer it will last forever.
