August is NYC's hottest month. If we're lucky it might cool off to the mid 70s at night. People used to sleep on fire escapes before air conditioning. If you wear a sweatshirt, at least you will surely and appropriately sweat more heavily.

Well, today it's freezing, it's like 24-35, but feels colder. As for this weekend they say anywhere from 33-42, but you know how that can change. Bundle up.
