Occasionally (including right now) my telly decides it doesn't wanna turn on, I can press the main button but it just stays on standby.
Could it just be a loose connection? You can hear a slight buzzing from the front, bottom left of the tv. Thanks! (It's a Bush 28" btw)

Bush TV's (especially the 28 Widescreens) are renowned for dry joints on the circuit boards - mine did exactly the same - cheap fix though if it is that - about £20

I think yr TV may be female!
Sometimes you just can't turn us on by pressing "the" button.
Be nice to it, sweet talk it. Tell it how much you want it.
If that doesn't work call out the repair man!

give it a good smack on the top. it works wonders, failing that, change the batteries in your remote control and turn it on from there.
