Go low carb and you'll easily drop the weight. That means, no bread, no pasta, no salad dressing where you don't know the ingredients. and lots of protein.
Low fat and frozen yogurt is still full of sugar. Sugar has no fat, but sugar causes fat in your body because it's so high carb.
Believe it or not, a low carb treat you can have is no-sugar whipped cream and strawberries.

I needed to lose some weight before my wedding too, so I feel you! I wasn't worried about all the lifestyle change crap you hear about weight loss, I just needed to lose weight fast for an event, wasn't worried about long term and so I tried Hoodia which suppresses your appetite. I went from eating a little too much to eating once or twice a day and being perfectly satisfied. Combined that with some working out and I lost all the weight I'd wanted to, plus a little extra! I got mine from this site, they give a free sample to get you started (do have to pay a small charge for shipping and handling): http://www.lovelyoffers.com/weightloss.html
Good luck!

You can buy sugar free ice cream. It will taste a little different, but it is a lot better than regular ice cream. That said, you should still eat it in moderation as it still has calories.

Immersion Blender or Hand Blenders can make creamy desert out of skim milk. Its not as flavorful as using cream, but it doesn't taste like yogurt. Add real vanilla extract and sugar and its pretty good alternative. It works with very cold skim milk. I never tried it with regular milk.
Also, if your craving chocolate ice cream, check out the sugar free jello chocolate pudding. Its a nightmare to make from the powder stuff, but the prepackaged in the deli section is very nice and much lower in calories. And its sugar free, so you get full from one little cup.

I do not think u will have to loose ice-creams,to loose weight. You would not beleive, but i do not think weight has anything to do with calories. Our body needs calories always,,,if we will starve the system by having low calorie food, where the brain will get enough energy to function proper.
The fact is,,we should try learn the art of directing our calories and nutrients in our metabolism,,and its not that jogging every morning is the job done. You know having spicy food, late night parties, drinks, waking up late in morning and not keeping urself busy(these all make our system lazy),,these all activities direct the food we take to deposit here and there.
Waking up as early as possible, having food that tastes mild(if possible avoid all these tastes salty, chilly, sour),do rigourous PRANAYAM and yoga next two months,,and u are doing enough to burn all the deposited stuff and to direct all ur calories to ur metabolism.Good luck.

I'm an ice cream fanatic too, but lately I've kicked the habit. I replaced it with fat free/sugar free jello pudding. I put light cool whip on top too - delicious!
