I was treated 16 years ago with klonopin and am still taking it today. NO, I am not addicted but I have panic disorder and it never really goes away. Anyway, the first time I took it I was so scared that I took like 1/8th of a pill and then gradually nibbled away on the rest of it. I felt wonderful because I had been sick for so long. I can understand the feelings you are having. The drozziness can be expected until you adjust to the pill. The mere presence of calm would allow for the drozziness. Your body is tired from stress.Disassociation of your head and body is ok too as that is one sympton of anxiety anyway. Give it time and just relax.

same thing happened to me. I took it in the morning and stopped the medication. That was a mistake. After reading several posts, I realize that you are suppose to take the medication before going to bed. It still works for anxiety during the day. My advise is to split the pill in half and get used to a half dose and work your way up. Here's a link of many people's experiences good and bad.

I took this pill for anxiety a few years ago and that feeling is normal, your body will get used to the pill soon and you shouldn't feel quite so drowsy and dopey.

That's exactly what happens with that type of drug. I was on it before and it did the same thing to me. It makes you so tired that you can't stay awake. I didn't like it and it is also very very addictive. Once your addicted to it, it is extremely hard to get off of. In fact it's one of the hardest drugs to stop taking. Hope this helps. LOL

If you try taking 0.5mg and that doesn't work then you might want to speak to your doctor to see if you can increase your dosage permanently or depending on situations.
