If you want to lose fat, do cardio for an hour about 4 days a week. Also do crunches and other ab workouts. Watch your food intake too. Make it healthy. Everyone has good abs, people just cover them up diffrently (with fat). So keep doing ab workouts and do cardio, because when you lose the fat, you'll have something to show.

You burn fat when you use your muscles. For more specific training (on your abs) the best and simplest route is to use an exercise ball. The situps are a lot more comfortable and easy to do, but surprisingly are more efficient at toning your abs. You don't need to do as many to feel it, either. It will work muscles in your abs that you forgot you have! Good luck!
