While these batteries where not designed to be recharged originally, if you spend some time on google you will find recharges, and simple how to build your own charger diagrams, that are safe and functional!! Be care full though, some chargers are actually illegal to bring in from the states to Canada.

According to that Thomas Distributing link, Li rechargeables exist, but not in the AA size you want. I'd like that myself. Oh well.
