My husband did. He was in and out the same day. It kinda shocked me because when they let me see him, his nose was totally packed with gauze. It kinda looked tampon size when they pulled it out! I about fainted myself. But, he has since then had relief of major headaches. He is still better about 5 years later. Hope this helps. Oh, he said he wasn't too sore afterwords.

My husband has twice because of nasal polyps. The first Dr. did a lousy job and my husband had to get it done again about a year later. He had polyps up and under his eyes because your sinus go along way. It was misery for him. They had to pack his nose to keep the sinus in position and that was for 2 weeks! He was terribly uncomfortable but once it was all over he has had any problems since. he does flush his nose with a saline solution every night to help keep his sinus cleaned out. His situation had alot to do with all the asthma medications he has taken over the years.

I've had sinus surgery and so has my mom. It wasn't bad at all. I still have sinus problems sometimes but i don't get the bad headaches and stuff like i used to. I wouldn't worry about the surgery at all, it's nothing!
