After all the smartass answers :).... you can have an attorney file a motion for expungement to have your record erased. It has to go back to the original court where your conviction occured.

If your record has been clean since then the prosecutor probably won't object and the judge will grant the motion. That will clean your record and give you a second chance. Good luck!

Oh, some states call it a "conviction set-aside". Same end result.

You can't sorry. The best thing you can do is marry someone with lots of money cause you are SOL when it comes to getting a good job.

And for that guy with years of experience as a lawyer.... I was arrested when I was 18 years old. The charges were dismissed and the case was tossed out. The lawyer charged me $6000.00 to have that arrest expunged from my record. Yet for some reason the Arrest still exists on my NCIC and TCIC. Yet if you contact the original Jurisdiction it is not there. This was 22 years ago so it does not affect me anymore but for several years I could not get a job in the criminal justice field and even then I had to explain it.

I don't think you can. If a crime was committed as a juvenile, it usually is sealed, but not always.

You may check with a lawyer who specializes in expungments.

Ask a lawyer about expunging your record. They will be able to tell you if you qualify. Good luck!

UNLESS THE PRESIDENT OR GOVERNOR PARDON YOU.
EXPUNGING A RECORD TAKES AN ACT OF GOD.
