If your "best friend" is truly your best friend then they will stay that way what ever happens but you're going to have to decide what to believe. She may have a lot of bad things to say about him and he might do the same about her. Listen to them and see which one tells the truth about the other more. Everyone has their own perceptions which isn't really lying but sometimes it's different than what other people sees or knows.
Basically, do what your heart feels is right.

ask her permission if u could go out with him and if she says she doesn't care then go right ahead. don't keep is a sceret from ur best friend.
