Oh yeh I forgot to mention... the wierdest thing about this is that when I am at home, reading or watching TV on the subject of disease, blood or anything else like that I hardly feel squeemish at all! Its only when I am in an experiencing these things in an environment I cannot leave that i feel squeamish.

I think what is making me feel stressed or ill is more the feer of having to leave the room or faint as i have done a once or twice in the past. When I know something is coming that I cannot avoid it makes me start to worry prematurly often irrationally. Yet this feeling can continue into the actual eperience I have been feering.

Maybe you just need to eat a better breakfast so your stamina is stronger.

Rob, I sympathise with you on this. From what you've said, your stress level has now been established at "high" whenever these situations present themselves. It's something you can do something about, however. It's not as though you're ALWAYS stressed about bodily stuff (at home) so I'd suggest that you ask your guidance counselor to suggest a psychologist you can talk with about this. Any psychologist worth his salt will guide you through and bit by bit, you'll find yourself able to endure the school situations more and more stress-free until you (and your own mind-power) decides you've had enough of this foolishness--that _YOU ARE_ in charge and won't have it any more. Once your subconscious mind comes to realize that this time you mean business, it will allow you to more easily rid yourself of this altogether. - and don't ever underestimate the power of YOUR MIND over Matter!!! Please don't put this off because each time the "squeemishes" are allowed, you are reinforcing their power over you. GOOD LUCK !

OK, my mother had classic panic attacks, and one of the symptoms is not that you are so freaked out about the thing that is causing the anxiety, but really about the fact that you are axious. Another words you are worried about being anxious and that you will faint, not about the dieseases and stuff. When you are at home, you know that if you pass out you are ok and won't be embarassed and stuff. You need to see your doctor to get a referal to a psychiatrist, so they can see if you have anxiety problems and if it could be treated with tharapy, maybe even medication. Hope this helps.

You have conditioned yourself to react negativly to that situation. Basicaly you talked yourself into being scared, I tend to do that a lot I have GAD and Panic attacks. You need to change how you act and react to the situation.
I force myself into the situation, but I give myself an escape plan, this gives me controll over the situation. You can introduce possitives to the situation ie: rewards, incentives. Take small steps, you talked yourself into this , you can talk yourself out.

See a therapist, because being that squeamish about just learning about diseases and first aid isn't normal.
