I am going through the same situation myself. I've got my son into a counsler to talk about the problem but it didn't help either. It is unfair that he take it out on you but you are the one that he has to vent it out on. I am constantly telling my son that it is his father that he should be telling things to not me but it seems like he is afraid to because he will push his father even futher away. So really the only thing you can do is 1. Talk to the father about the situation and see if you can resolve some things. 2. Just keep telling your son that you love him and you hope that things will change for him and his dad. Thats really the only thing you can do cause you can't force someone to do something that they don't want to do. Believe me I have spent many of nights crying over the situtation cause it is really unfair that one should have to go through something like this when it is not our fault.

Good Luck and I wish you all the best

As hard as it may be, I think you will just have to put your foot down and let him know that his behavior is unacceptable. Let him know that you understand that he misses his father and continue to support their relationship the best that you can. Be firm with the rules of the house though. Hopefully he's just testing the waters to see what he can get away with and that will put a stop to it.
