The US can't pull out just because it hasn't the stomach for it anymore, it has to see this through or lose all credibility in the world, remember if you can when the US pulled out of Vietnam, it was an embarrassment for the country and a tragic loss of nearly 60,000 US troops all for nothing, they must leave Iraq better than when they found it or the Islamic extremists will believe that they have won a great victory, which will embolden them to step up their campaign against the west even further, the expense for pulling out now would have much more far reaching consequences than any of the financial aspects you have mentioned.

Lets look at this from the view of what would we gain... Terrorist running around in most of the Mideast countries attacking, kidnapping, and killing anyone they wish at will because we showed our weakness. A country (Iraq) left in a very unstable situation to possibly allow another Tyrant/Religious nut leader to step in and start the stupid crap all over again. Leaving would allow terrorist and other violence based groups to get a foothold in countries, political arenas and other areas to plan further actions against countries outside of the Mideast that are NOT Muslim based, and even some that are because they support other nations that are not Muslim. My opinion is very simple... LETS FINISH WHAT WE STARTED! because the alternative is to give every nut job in the world a place to kill and destroy at will... I prefer my kids NOT grow up in that type of world, thank YOU!

Very expensive and foolhardy. To the terrorists, that cut and run policy would show weakness on the US's part and definitely embolden the terrorists to try some more 9/11 type attacks within the US and to be able to destroy Israel.

We can finish this, so we should. Who thinks a bunch of insurgents in a desert can beat the US in a military engagement? You're a crazy traitor if you think that.
If someone were to take power in Iraq that didn't like us, then it would be understood that our oil prices could go up.

Right now the war costs America $1.7 BILLION dollars a day. Leaving would not be that expensive.
Also, "terrorists" are not currently and have never run Iraq.

You are absolutely correct. The cost of leaving now would be greater than most people could fathom in 15 life times.
