I'm almost 27 and my not-boyfriend just turned 28. We have been talking and dating on and off for 2 years now. It's long distance currently but even when he was here he didn't want to commit. He talks about a future with me, but when I address this he backtracks. We talk for hours every day, but really we are going no where. He says he's not happy with himself and can't commit to anything until he knows where he is in life. I don't want to wait forever, but I'm not sure if I should wait anylonger or just call it off now. If he cared, it would seem that he would want to have a future with me.

Drop him Jess and find someone who will appreciate you for you and give you what you want and need.

I always give my gal Melrose what she needs...my big stick.

when ;you said " your Not boyfriend", did you mean he sees other people and so do you? Seems as if you already talked to him about what you wanted and he is not taking you seriously. If you are not even considered his steady girlfriend then I would say he is not that into you. And now you say it is a long distance relationship? Is he in college? I really need more info to help you here. In the mean time if he has not made any kind of commitment to you and you feel he is wasting your time then let him know this and move on.

I think you need to sit down with you man and tell him whats on your mind, you can't keep putting you life off cause he doesn't want to committ to you ask yourself this do u think it is worth your time and energy to wait for him, never knowing if he will committ to you and plan a future with you i think you should tell him what you feel and if he still doesn't committ then pack your bags and make tracks cause a man that never committs has some issues that may not make sense and he just dragging you down not building you up as a relationship should do ok i hope it works out Good luck and take care.

Basically he is saying he wants to see other woman.
Be glad he is at least honest and not saying he cares, loves you, you are his, he is yours, all the lying
He does not want a commitment.
Push him out of the way, so the right man for you can come in your life when the time is right.

You have answered your own question. He is not ready or interested in a future with you or anyone else for that matter. Stop wasting precious time! Move on with your life and on to someone who wants the same things you do.

Guys are little more conscious about the security. If he is not ready for the marriage, give him some time... ask him a time frame. If you push it & if he marrys you, it might not turn to be a good relation.

If you cant wait, just discuss it with him & leave him in peace with no agony in any minds.

I would move on if he won't commit. There are so many fish in the sea that would love to commit with you. It may hurt, but go out there and catch your fish!

Good luck and God bless

Time to move on, because who knows how long it's going to take for him to figure out his problems.

Why are you trying to rush? does this really sound like marriage material to you. Glad he is being sensible. Be friends and move on.
