I broke up with my boyfriend a couple of days ago.
I'd been feeling like he didn't mean so much to me, and suddenly he said 'This might break your heart...but I don't feel the same anymore'
It's lucky I was going off him
But now I'm really happy.
Why?

it's like being on a train and you see that it's going to tip over. you jumped off before disaster strikes. same goes for a relationship that won't go anywhere. it's something that you saved yourself from.

It made you happy because you were already done with that phase of your life in your mind and actions. You just had to tell him and when you got to the point of telling him...you knew that you were done with the relationship. It is a load off of your mind and you are relieved that he felt the same way and was ready to end the relationship. He didn't pressure you to feel different and he wasn't upset that you were done with the relationship. He was problably relieved and happy that you were okay with breaking up also. Hope you find your true love soon!!

You're happy now, but will be sad in a couple of days. You are just relieved that is over, but once the feeling of relief is gone, you might feel sad. Hopefully you won't though!

its probably because that's what you wanted really deep down in side and you were able to relate to what he was trying to let you down with so that's probably why your happy girl and you know what that's good because at least now you have the strength to move on easily now.
