Can anyone tell me the name of a herbivorous bird, and a herbivorous reptile? Also; does anyone know whether you need to provide water for barn owls or do they just get moisture from their food?

(Before you all look at me weirdly, no I'm not harbouring an injured barn owl. I just want to know.)

Herbivory is a rare strategy in birds. Only 3% of extant birds exploit plant material as an energy source.
Phytotoma rara (Phytotomidae), possibly the smallest herbivorous bird.

herbivorous reptile:. the giant tortoise of Aldabra atoll

And YES! Barn owls do have to have water. A lot of times they will be found dead in water troughs for cattle because they go to drink and fall in!

As for the barn owl, yes, they need to drink water, just like any other animal.
