No. They are your family; not you. be honest from the start.

How long have you been dating? If the relationship is still new, then you can wait. However, if the relationship is getting serious it's a good idea for you to introduce him/her to your family. If your family is part of your life, then they will likely become part of his/hers. Are you close to these crazy family members and love them anyway? You should be honest with him/her and let him/her meet them and form their own opinions. They have a right to know what they're getting into. Good luck!

yes/no. Depends if you fear the bf/gf will think you will be the same. But I would talk to the family first about it. Family is family and at the end of the day, they will wish for your happiness.

You don't really have to hide him unless you aren't allowed to date. But otherwise just be like hey i have a boyfriend/girlfriend and you will probably not meet them unitl i know that they are into this relationship enough to deal with my family. I'm sure that if you brought them around your family they would try to be a little more "normal". If not.... yeah hiding sounds likea good idea

Hell yeah. At least for awhile, until you were really comfortable and secure in the relationship, and your partner knew what to expect. Also, depending on age (and here I'm thinking 18 & older), you don't have any obligation to tell your parents about whom you're dating and whom you're not dating. Specially after you move out. But if it gets serious, you might want to let them know, just because it's important to you.

No. If the relationship decides to get serious, he's going to have to meet them eventually. Might as well see if he's man enough to handle them now.
