It depends on where you purchase one. A rescue Yorkie will probably cost @$250. One from a reputable breeder can run $1000 or more.

Well, I have 2 Yorkies. The females are most generally more that the males. My male was supposed to be $1200, but I offered the guy $500, and he sold him for that. My female was supposed to be $1300, but I got her for $700, and then I got a $200 dollar discount because I picked her up. Never buy sight unseen. Always go and look before you make a decision. Just depends on the breeder and the quality you want. Mine are both AKC registered. Location can also change the prices dramatically. If your just looking for one for a pet, tell the breeders that, that way your not getting show quality dogs (which are much more expensive). Just do alot of shopping around. I looked for my male for almost a year, and my female about 6 months. I don't suggest puppyfind.com or petfinder.com.... I ran into tons of scams! I did have luck with www.nextdaypets.com, you can search your areas. I didn't end up using any of the places on it, but it is a great place. Good luck!

Anywhere from several hundred to a couple thousand. If you're serious about adopting a yorkie, I would suggest checking out a yorkie rescue rather than buying from a breeder. Not only is it much cheaper, but a rescue will vaccinate, spay/neuter, and *usually* offer some sort of free first vet visit and the option of 1 month free pet insurance. (All of which will run you about $100 for the everything.)

An arm, leg, part of your spleen, 3 fingers, your calf muscle, 3 vertebre, all of your plasma, most of your red blood cells, a few cranial plates, both your feet, and your family inheretance.

But being serious, the rule of thumb is the larger the dog, the smaller the price. And that purebred AKC registered dogs carry a heafty price tag.

But beware that most Purebreeds have some sort of problems that makes them even more expensive.

I've posted a few sites for you and the cheapest i have found runs at 1,000 USD, and the average price being about 2,000-2,500

Yorkies do no longer shed, yet will lose hair into the comb once you groom them.
