Sometimes we ask questions to provoke thought or make a point.

Other times we ask questions to waste time on Y!A.

Sometimes we ask questions because our cat walked all over the keyboard while we were on the telephone.

Ahuh... or call the answer "an excuse". It makes me crazy. Someone asked earlier why if God is perfect and He made man, why is man imperfect? And I answered "Because God gave man free will" and then I get "thats just an excuse because you dont know the answer!!!" ummmm well no, that IS the answer!

I think sometimes people think their question HAS no answer and probably think no one has ever thought about it before them, and then they're shocked to see there have been answers all along.

yah its annoying...

but then again. some are extremely unexpected. for example. i asked a question the other day, asking for peoples interpretations on a specific verse. just about all my replies were, "you obviously dont read the bible" or "your taking it out of context" ... all i did was ask for peoples input on what they think the verse means.

i didnt like the answers, but then again they werent even answers to my question. *shrug*

It is OK to me that people do not have the same answers than I have. I think that makes things interesting. It is about the free will.
