My daughter was recently in a fire and has several small skin grafts in various areas on her body... Her father, who has temporary custody of her, has been using colloidal silver on these grafts to keep them from becoming infected... without asking her doctor first... I called the doctor and was told that this is definitely a bad idea... I want to know exactly how bad this could become so that I know if she'll need to be seen again by the doctor...

Colloidal silver is supposed to be an all natural antibiotic. But there have never been any clinical trials on the stuff and it's claims are a joke, stating it will cures everything from cancer to Aids. And it's NOT FDA approved.

Just keep an eye on her grafts. If they turn red or start to pull up, call the doctor immediately.

Apparently it has effectively been used for burns. I don't know if the skin graft could make a difference. Here's a website that might give you some helpful info.

Not a good idea... He needs to consult with her doctor before putting ANYTHING on a graft site!!! Besides, colloidal silver is not considered medically proven to do anything really. It is said that it has natural antibiotic qualities, but this has not been successfully poven through scientific research.

somewhat! the excellent concern about colloidal silver is that it would not wipe out each of the coolest vegetation on your gadget yet acts adverse to the undesirable stuff in common words. there are the type of lot of naysayers available yet those also are the individuals touting antibiotics for paper cuts.
