That really depends on a few more things, such as,
1) how big is the bathroom?
2) how much natural light does the bathroom get?
3) what color is the hardware, or are you willing to replace it?
4) how heavily used is the bathroom?
5) what colors are the nearby rooms and hallway?
6) are you into country, modern, of-the-minute, 70's chic or something else?
7) what climate do you live in?
Anyway, in most bathrooms, cream, grey, or blue works well, although it's unexciting.
In your favorite search engine, use the "images" function and search "bathroom". You'll get to quickly look at oodles of photos of bathrooms. You might see some that inspire you.

Dark Grey for a small bathroom sounds very gloomy and depressing especially if this bathroom is intended for your two beautifully little girls. I totally agree with dcjeffre use the grey as a primer or bass. I would paint the ceiling white and the walls a soft pastel there are many lovely colours available. GOOD LUCK

It depends on how big the bathroom is and what inspires you.
For a tropical feel go with a light green or neutral shades.
If you have a large bathroom paint it cobalt blue, you'll feel like you're in Greece.
For more ideas check our Berh paints. The have pictures that will inspire you.

Robin's egg blue or a leafy spring green. If your not into that much color...a darker beige. All of those colors will make the white pop.
