and this girl had a baby, but in the trial she said she was at a motel with her other male friend waiting for the babys father to call, drinking. The baby was right then with her. The judge kept saying she was a unfit mother, was she right?

She said that she was and she was also on jan 1-3....the people countersuing her said she didnt burp the child when she would feed her. She wouldd leave the child crying and they had to buy medicence for the child because she wouldnt.

The babys father also wanted to be in the daughters life, he was for the first 4 weeks I think thats what he said providing a roof and everything of her head. I think she should of stayed with her dad, but I want to know yalls opionion.

Do you think it's appropriate for a woman who is caring for a baby to drink with a man, who is not the baby's father in a motel room? She couldn't wait until she had a baby sitter?
Was she drunk? How can you tend to a baby's needs if you are drunk?

I believe the mother is unfit and I will tell you why. True, it was a good thing that the baby was with her but to be drinking around the baby should send up plenty of red flags. I've always believed that in a room where there is alcohol is consumed that there should be someone like the designated driver. Someone should be able to care for that little girl even if the mother can't.

Completely! A mother drinking in a hotel room with another man with her child there? That doesn't add up! I bet there is more to the story and it wasn't good either. I have NEVER had more than one mixed drink at a dinner, family gathering or even in my own home with my daughter there watching. What does that teach? Not to mention if an emergency happens away from home. Being one of those trash mothers who drags her baby or kids everywhere with her (even bars, parties or strange hotel rooms) doesn't make you a better mother, it makes you worse.

if you are doing somethign thta can cause impaired judgement and are in charge of a small child i feel that makes you unfit. hire a baby sitter, if you can't afford it then you can't afford to be out drinking

WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?. I think that an unfit mother is someone that puts their child in jepordy. All this women was doing was getting her drink on. I think she just messed up someone's family
