I came out of a bad relationship, and my friend told me she likes me. She want to be in a relationship. I don't know if I'm ready to start one. I have been single for 8 months, but the past relationship I was in was good and ended horriblely. Should I go with this girl?

If you can look at this girl and spend time with her without comparing her to your last relationship in any way, shape or form, including worrying bout her doing whatever it was that your last GF did to hurt you so bad...then you've finally put the other woman's memory to rest. Proceed, and good luck to you. :)

Don't jump from relationship to relationship. Don't even try.

This, at best, is a rebound. Tell her how much you value her friendship, and pitch the idea that just because you're just 'friends' doesn't mean that you have to put yourselves into a box. You can be friends, and still be intimate with eachother, just as long as you both understand that's all it is.

If you even have to ask this question, you're still on the rebound. Tell your friend that your heart is still a little hurt and you're not able to really give your all to another relationship yet, but you're really glad to have her company and enjoy her presence. Etc. Be polite and don't destroy her ego for mentioning that she likes you.

it depends, do you like her back or are you just thinking about going out with her because she likes you and wants to be in a relationship?
