Jesus is God. Three,.....yes One!
I and my Father are one.
(John 10:30)
Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no savior beside me.
(Hosea 13:4)
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Christians should not put Jesus ahead of his father who created him (COL 1:15).
The bible does mention that Jesus is a God (John 1:1 - "...and the Word was God.") and even Satan as a God (2Cor. 4:4 – “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers”) but Jesus said his father is greater then he.
John 14:28 - "...for my Father is greater than I"
Jesus and his father and very close but to misquote scriptures to say they are one person would like be saying two people in a marriage are the same person. It is not a trinity but a close bond that the two share, a father and a son.

While some church doctrines will try to say this, there are many who believe as I that Jesus's words are mis-intrepetated many times in the scriptures due to lack of comprehension as to what Jesus was trying to say. I believe that it is a mistake to say Jesus is God, as he never wanted people to worship him, but instead his father. I usually acknowledge him as "Son of the Father" or other such sayings so as not to lower the respect I have for the Creator God. This belief is one that many church leaders teach (however respectfully according to the scriptures), I believe serves only the exclusive good of the church doctrine and does not serve either God or Jesus.

Jesus said he was the son of God. The father confirmed this during his baptism and his transformation. Jesus said when we make requests to go to the Father in His name, and the request would be answered, as long as it is in God's perfect will. we are not putting Jesus before God. We are obeying teh Father would has indicated that we honor his son. Jesus is divine, sharing the spirit of the Father.

I found this:
Colossians 2:8-10
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. 9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, 10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;
It basically says all that is God is in Jesus.
However, when you pray you are to pray to the Father through Jesus Christ.
He will be our king. Though, he is not God the Father... It's confusing. Forget it, I really don't know anything.

God cannot look upon sin so we must go through Jesus. Kind of like a catholic would go to a priest, we go to Jesus. But we are still praying to God.

" Jesus says that no one can know God except through him."
So.... what exactly does this mean to you then?
You pretty much answered your own question, don't ya think?
Jesus is God. It says it throughout the whole bible, only the blind can't see it.

Because they pick and choose which parts of the bible they live by at the time.
You know whats really funny? One of the 10 commandments is not to worship idols, yet they do it with Jesus. It was not any god that said Jesus and the god were one person, it was Jesus and Jesus was a human being (he had to be human. If he was divine, he'd have lived forever).
So, basically, the Christians are being hypocrites.
