I don't remember this behavior in the 80's when I was a teen. Is this the new hip and trendy way to behave for young girls? And let's not forget about the "ho tag" lower back tattoo...

I think it is absolutely disgusting. They seem to do it for attention and get guys. They feel negative attention may be better than none at all. The clothes (or lack of!), underage drinking, sex, drugs, etc...They have no moral values. They have no intelligent understanding of what their actions lead to. Things weren't like that in the 90's either.

Kids are also so spoiled, they have no reat ethics. Children walking around with desiner clothes and cell phones in elementary school! Teenagers with sports cars handed to them...they will never fully appereciate what the true meaning of life is.

It's sad, but as America moves further away from God, they move closer to this. Why is there tolerance for all of this kind of behavior, and not the bible and church? That is what is missing. They need role models who let them know they do not have to act ditzy and easy to get attention.

Actually, I wonder what the older generation said back in the 60's 70's and 80's when we all wore high heels and mini skirts. When we are of the age group involved we didn't see it the same way as adults. We tended to go by fashion. I agree they tend to look slutty compared to the way we looked as we always dressed up, had our hair done, immaculately clean and didn't act like sluts. Today's generation seems to have no Morales and have no idea of what sex is other than an act of getting someone. But on the other hand, let's not judge them all. There are lots of decent young ladies walking around that will surely end up married with the right man

I'd have to blame the media for setting the example in the first place but it's the parents' fault for letting them act that way and probably buying them the clothes they wear. as for making out with other girls, ever hear the expresion "kiss a girl, get a guy"? even the ones who are older and act like that do it because they want attention and they think guys like that stuff. they get the attention that they want so they keep doing it. like a girl from my work went to a bar with a bunch fo guys from work and another girl and the 2 girls started making out and sucking each other's **** and stuff, it only made them more popular with the guys at work.

well when I was a teen and in my early 20's in the 90's we didn't act like that either. It's all media hyped so much that girls feel like they have to act like sluts now to get noticed at all. I'm not really sure how all this happened but it would be nice if America did clean up it's act a bit.

p.s. typical blonde bimbo who answered above me.

I always assumed it was low self-esteem. I agree with the answer above about role models. It is sad that kids aren't kids any more. When I look at clothes, I am always surprised at the outfits that are out there for pre-teens and teens.

So many young girls find it okay to act slutty, because their role models [actors on television and in movies, singers] do the same. Also, the males who they act slutty in front of don't have the balls to tell the girls that it's not attractive.

It's because of role models they look up to. Britney, Paris, Lindsay, etc. They see them looking and acting like trash and they think it is normal.

If you have got it..FLAUNT IT!!! They do it for attention. FYI, you sound bitter and jealous. And how do you figure that a lower back tattoo is a "hoe tag"? Some people just like them. That has nothing to do with whether or not they are a hoe. Do you have a problem with a female trying to be sexy?
