the cats are very soft and get brushed every day. and get so much attention. and they are not mean. but they dont like kids(because of the screaming the yelling the chasing, etc.)

Hi there...Bengal cats are certainly a handful being so high energy. However, they are endearing in their own special ways not to mention highly intelligent if given a chance to learn. I have a brown glitter rosetted male and taken as a rescue a gliter brown marble male recently both around 2 years young. Both are beautiful and so regal.
My rosetted Bengal plus an Abyssinian/Tabby mix are my assistants who help educate the public on feline intelligence and behaviours so that people realize cats are equally if not more intelligent than dogs. Both can perform command behaviours such as sit, sit up, lay down, roll over, wave, high-five, jump through hoops, use the human toilet, etc.

I own a marble bengal myself and he is approaching 2 years old. I had him neutered and declawed on all four when he was a small kitten due to their nature. He loves water and you cant keep him out of the bathtub. If I close the shower door he will leap from the floor to the top or the shower door to get in. He is a huge cat and weighs about 25 pounds now. He loves to talk as well and tries to carry on converstions with me *of course I cant understand meow meow* but I do listen to him. HAHA

I have one also, she is 2 years old. She has calmed down some since she was a kitten, but is still very hyper and destructive. She has a tendancy to steal anything with meat/poultry/fish in it off of my plate when I'm not looking. Also she likes to dig in plants and the garbage. Mine doesn't like to play in water much, but she does like to drink from the faucet. She also likes to jump up onto extremely high places after shes done something bad to try to hide from me, which in turn ends up with her knocking down expensive stuff from high cabinets and mantels. Bengal cats can make great pets if you have the time and you WANT to train them. Even though I listed a bunch of things that most pet owners would go nuts about, I have broke her of a lot worse habits. All in all, she is a good pet

Bengals are great cats to own. They derive from the Asian Leopard cat- they have a wild appearance but a domestic temperment. They dont "turn wild on you" either, as long as they are from a 4th generation or later of breeding, then they will be completely domestic. They are very fond of water and very intellegent. Mainecoons are awesome cats!! You should research them...they are one of the most intellegent cats.

Bengal cats are a hybread cat and since they are half wild they can sometimes turn mean and distructive you must be able to show them that you are in charge also mancoons are awsome cats they need constaint brushing to keep their fur from getting matted but yes they are all cute.

Maine Coon cat. Not mancoon.
I had a Bengal once. We ended up having it euthanized after MANY attacks. We sought help from a behaviorist and medication, but the cat was DANGEROUS,to humans and other animals.
