im in love with my ex boyfriend and we been trying to work things out but its so hard because he is in the navy in san diago and im in florida.he left two years ago and we been getting back togather off and on but i keep messing things up i meet other guys and it gets him jelious so we end up breaking up again.i love him with all my heart and i want nothing more but to be with him but at the same time i dont think things are going to work out because me and him have become two diffrent people i feel like i dont even know him any more.He has changed so much and i know that if he was here everything would be great between us.but hes not so what should i do stay and try to work things out or just let him go?

You are NOT in love with him--you're in love with the idea of being in love. That's it. Do him a favor--cut him loose.

Loving him means waiting for him. If you're so easy to go out on him, you don't really love him. Maybe you should think hard about letting him move on so he can find someone who will wait for him.

long distance relationships are full of heartbreak... let it go unless you're willing to move to be with him. if not, cut the relationship and find someone local to date.
