hi all. the phrase "salam allah cume" (not sure hows its spelt?) what does this mean? is it muslim & can i say it to any asian or religion? thanks in advance

well you can say any gratings to any one that understands the language
Muslim use very much the word
assalam alaikum this is international to all Muslims .they appreciate you saying that to them.it says peace be upon you .is in;t a wonder full Way to meat some one smiling to him saying peace be upon you

It is a greating meaning Peace be upon you in around about way.

A salam alakim

reply is

malakim salam

but it is only a muslim greeting not Asian in general.

Salam or Asalamu Alaykom is the arabic and muslim greeting.

Salam = Peace

Allah is God for Muslims.

Salam Allah = God's greetings...

Cume = Dunno, probably not an arabic word

Not all asians are muslims...

If you're really interested, sticking with the word "SALAM" only is much better..

Greeting people from different places/religions across asia really differs :)

Translation gets lost. But it's something like may god be with you. I wouldn't say it to anyone unless they are muslim or middle eastern.
