I have been living the last year not watching what I have eatin and hardly any exercise and have gained weight. Now I need to get back on track. Anyone know of a daily regiment for juice fasting, maybe a daily scedule of what to do. It is only going to last 1-3 days and I plan on talking to my doctor about it as well. Please no lectures, just answers. What should I buy, how much juice/ broth / water/ and vitamins should i intake daily and how often????

Between 32 and 64 ounces of juice is usually recommended per day. The juice is sipped throughout the day. Typical fruits and vegetables include celery, carrot, kale, cabbage, apple, pineapple, cranberry, spinach, beet, and greens. Citrus fruits are often avoided.
Make sure you get your water in too.

Jessie has the nice reply - and consider: muscle is heavier than fats, but additionally is helping the frame burn energy quicker. Getting in form and retaining it that means is the nice. Using fasting so that you can detox the frame is a deficient choice. Why now not take a look at one of the vital frame cleansers (inside style) for those who quite think that you just have got to detoxify? You do not point out your age, however that's a massive aspect in methods to cross approximately what you're looking to do. Eating end result and greens which are prime in fiber will aid plenty in that path... well success, however please do not harm your frame that would possibly not exhibit up for 30 or forty years...and then you definately discover out that even as you have been for your developing years, you don't have been fasting in any respect.

Ok, you go to walmart and buy a meal replacement supplement its powdered and comes in a tin. It has everything you will need in it to replace on the meal for your supper. Now there is also a couple of more items that I add to make it a supreme juice drink, I buy the frozen mixed fruit in a bag, cranberry juice and pomegrame juice, add it all into a blender which takes about 20 sec. push liquefy and pour into a glass, drink and enjoy and your done.

Fasting for Weight Loss
Adapted From: Dieting For Dummies, 2nd Edition

Fasting to cleanse the body and jumpstart a weight loss diet has been recommended for years. But the reality is that fasting deprives the body of nutrients. The result is low energy, weakness, and lightheadedness, not real weight loss. Any loss is water and muscle, not fat, and you regain the weight when you start eating again. Fasting does not clear toxins from the body, either — just the opposite: Ketones can build up when carbohydrates are not available for energy, and that massing of ketones stresses the kidneys and can ultimately be harmful to your health.

If you fast, you may drop pounds, but some of that weight will be muscle, and most of it will be water. You need to eat protein foods such as lean meat, eggs, low-fat or fat-free milk, or legumes (beans and peas), or you'll be thin and flabby, not thin and shapely.

juice has just as much calories and sugar as some foods. I'd say just go with teh water and grapefruit/celery it works best, believe me.

Uhhh...do you realize that if you don't eat, your body will go into "starvation mode" and store as much fat as it can???
