Hot flashes happen usually when your body is going through menapause. Its harmonal changes. One minute you're sweating, the next minute you are cold. It passes. Sometimes it takes years though. I am currently experiencing hot flashes. I am 45 and am going through menapause now. It started when I was 40.

i think u were referring to hot flushes .... its commonly felt by women who are going to get into the stage of menopause ... once the menopause sets in it usually disappears.usuallu consists of sweating flushing over the cheeks and stuff like that

they are4 not fun . they cause increasing heat in your body like a fever. they should go away about 10 minutes later
