I think the investment that we have in Iraq is wrong. It's ok to send some help over there to train their police and army and maybe some aid to rebuild their country but we are doing way too much.

No. While this may not be the best option, it's not really against national interest. Everyone wants the troops out of there, but we can't just leave the people to fend for themselves, so we need to get as much done there as we can before we get out.

By all means, let's bring all the troops home now. That way, we can fight the terrorists here in America, and when our own civilians are being slaughtered like lambs, you can blame Bush again for another bone-headed maneuver and keep talking about impeachment. Face it, some of you will not be happy whether they stay or leave. I just hope you are ready to fight them on your own turf.

I think as a adhoc relief to those troops already there more troops are required but the Govt should try political options Rather solving the issues militarily.

I think the people of this nation has spoken quite clearly that they don't think that it is in the best interests of our country.

The way I see it, it sucks that Iraq is in the state that it is in right now, and it is all our fault. Of course it would be nice if we could stay and fix it, but it simply isn't possible. We've turned a nation that was once relatively stable that had no qualms with us into a pile of rubble, and the people there hate us for that.

I agree but 21000 is about 80000 to short, I'm against the war from the start, but if we're going to do the job, do it right.
