locate a clean vet! Repeated seizures may reason innovative mind harm and bring about lack of life. No vet might want to inform you your canines is 'high-quality' if it has had diverse seizures. There are extremely low-value drugs they could grant you with to help administration them. to boot, in the experience that they very last for 1/2-hour or longer, try to be in a position to get him right into a vet even as he's seizing as a thanks to get a more effective perfect idea of the type of seizure. save music also of what he ate earlier the seizure, his activities, and so on. because it would want to be triumphant in determining a plausible set off.

Has your dog eaten any chocolate?

If so, it could be toxic shock....if not, take it to the vet anyway. I had a toy poodle that begin to have seizures and was diagnosed with low blood sugar...she had to eat something sweet (or have a spoonful of sugar added to her drinking water) everyday.

I am sure it could also be many other things as well. I wish you luck and hope it is nothing serious.

Hi, doesnt sound like a seizure but you need to take him to the vet for a check up asap. Something was obviously wrong & you dont want to wait for it to happen again before you get it checked out. Maybe you could ask for advice over the phone until you can get a vet appointment .Good luck.

Sounds like a mini stroke but could be a sign of something alot worse, my dog had a seizure which lasted over 2 hours while we waited for the vet, she was diagnosed with eplepsy but we decided it was kinda to have her put to sleep as it was something we could not predict when it would happen again, it was one of the saddest days i have experienced. Get your dog to the vets to have a full check, it could just be a virus as when temp increases can cause strange behaviour.

Your dog could be having a seizure but sounds more like a minor stroke. You need to take your baby to the vet ASAP and make sure the dog is not in pain or having other medical issues.

I cant say why it happened but my oldest dog did this until the age of seven, it looked similar to a fit and no one would go near him but me. he grew out of it, but obviously it something happening in the brain. It could be that he is getting old and had a mini stroke. Sorry but if it is he will have more and sadly go on to another place.I know that is sad but be strong for him and look after him.

my 16 yr old dog recently passed away 2 months ago he had epilepsy, his seizures were usually 5-7 min long though he became almost completely paralyzed and would lay down and shake, he would also foam at the mouth. definitely take him to the vet and get a neurological exam.

I have an Rhodesian Ridgeback and that has happened to her a few times. We found that when she is anxious it happens. We just hold her and tell her how much we love her and she relaxes and lie's down again. It is pretty scary hey. She has not had it for a while now but i know exactly how you must have felt.:)))

I would strongly suggest you get your dog to a vet for a check up. I could only guess at what the problem is and if you listened it could prove harmful to your dog if I was wrong.

It could be epilepsy. Take him to the vet, they'll do a blood test to find out. The first test will cost you but if it is epilepsy the drug company sometimes pays for the following blood test.
