At least two choices:

a: Keep looking for it

b:Stay in SF, it's a better place.

Good luck, if you find a good solution from somewhere besides here, please post it.

p.s.
I've scanned my license, and have the file on a secured online server, just in case.

Come visit us in merry England, Lil G! Use your inter-US tickets just to get out there on the tarmac. However, as soon as airport officials are otherwise engaged - e.g; waving in a large plane that is tricky to park - quickly stow yourself away in the cargo hold of a "Blighty Flights" air-plane. You'll have an uncomfortable 10 hours or so amongst the packing crates and livestock, but it'll all have been worth it once you're here with us cheery Englanders - swilling warm beer and Morris dancing the night away like a bally native!

Phone Delta Airlines, they'll give you a new ticket but maybe have to pay a penalty.

No identification, no ticket!!!!

You will have to go to the security office and explain what happend. They should be able to identify you through other means and you will be given another temporary ID that will allow you to check bags and get through security.

aother option is to have someone at home fax you a copy of your passport ... that would be enough.
