Go to start , search, files or folders, click on files or folders, type in hphmon05.exe in the box and click on search. Then go to all the places where it is and delete it.Also you could go to the my computer icon on the desktop and click on it, then click on your C drive, and click on the program folder. If you see a hphmon05.exe folder then delete it. It might be a good idea to get an anti-virus, anti-spyware program like Norton Internet Security with Anti-Spyware to protect your computer if you don't have one. You can also do free computer scan at symantec.com (Norton's website), but you have to buy a program to delete bad stuff.

As a point of comparison, it is rare for a particular malicious program (virus or spyware) to be seen on more than one or two percent of all systems tested.

PCs running this program did not have a high average CPU load during testing, which indicates it does not consume a great deal of CPU time on most systems.

try starting pc in safe mode
search for the file and delete
you may have to show all files including hiden ones
also switch off restore as if it's a virus or similar sometimes they can hide in the restore files which are not searched if restore is on
try running a good virus program as it looks like a bad type of file
remember to switch on restore after!!!

Go to start-search for files, type in the name-find where it is in your C drive, go to that folder, highlight that file, and hit delete.I can't guarantee that will work, but you can try. Or, go to www.spywareinfo.com/xscan.php , and a free spyware finder will open automatically, let it run, and it will find spyware, then exit without puting anything on your computer.

Just go to google, and type in Hphmon05.exe
You will learn all about it, what it's for, and how to get rid of it.
If you can't delete it while booted in windows, just login in safe mode and do it.
