Added a link to the program I did last year at the bottom.

Start out with some planning - an entire week's worth of healthy meals. If you are not sure, go to the food pyramid site for a refresher. Basically, think of a healthy breakfast, a well-balanced lunch, and a dinner that is about half vegetables. Then, make a grocery list. Buy only what is on the list. Do not steer the cart down the cookie, pop, or chip aisle.

For quick dinners, I like a chicken breast or frozen fish filet with a cup full of frozen veggies. Meat goes in oven, tray of veggies into microwave, and you are done. I also like high-fiber whole wheat pasta tossed with diced tomatoes and spinach (no sauce - canned tomatoes if you really want to save time). Just watch your portion sizes, and walk away from the kitchen when you are done. I find that if I don't have junk food in the house, I won't eat junk food. Keep fruit in the fruit bowl and out on the counter so it is the first thing you grab if you are looking for a snack.

Don't overlook the importance of exercise! Even a half hour walk pushing a baby stroller counts.

Good luck.

Just ensure you shouldn't have something you are not able to devour on your apartment. Have lots of culmination and vegetables reduce up and available. Lots of in a position made salads too. Don't drink soda. Drink best water and devour best uncooked unprocessed culmination and greens. Top your night salad with a few lean meat or nuts. There are actually hundreds of unique salads to make. Hummus is low fats, filling and healthful. Try to reduce long ago on bread. Use a tortilla for a wrap as a substitute than creating a sandwich. Make well offerings day-to-day and you'll drop some weight with out doing something.

First off congrats on the baby! I have an 8 year old and although they are a blessing they also can cause your body to fall apart! I gained 52 pounds when I was pregnant. I also have a thyroid problem so it makes it even MORE difficult to loose weight. I started to get up before the baby......sounds hard but if you really want to make time for yourself then you need to commit to some form of exercise everyday. Even taking a walk with the baby and now they even have stroller workouts!! You're spending time with your child and improving your health! As for nutrition always eat breakfast! Breakfast should be your biggest meal because you have the whole day to burn off those calories. Eggs have now been proven to help with weight loss. No more than 7 a week. I have 1 whole egg beaten with 1 or even 2 egg whites....they are packed with protein and have no fat or carbs. Match that with a light/low fat cheese slice and a slice of whole grain..toast....english muffin or just something with fiber and always look for bread products with "whole grain" as the first ingredient. 2 hours later have something less filling...I would have a light and fit yogurt and maybe a couple tablespoons of a healthy cereal mixed in for a crunch. That totals about 100 calories for that snack. Then 2 hours later make a quick salad. When you are at the store choose veggies (I love hot peppers with a big salad) you love and pick a great light dressing. Prepare your veggies when you find the time (after the little one is asleep) then making a very impressive salad becomes as easy as grabbing something that is bad for you. Top that with a whole can of tuna ( packed in water not oil),or grilled chicken....any lean protein. That meal becomes more like a lower carb meal not because you need to eat low carb but I believe varying your meals from higher carbs to lower carbs keeps your body from storing anything and you are fueled all day long. For dinner half your plate should be veggies (steamed or baked) don't be afraid to use seasonings!! It makes a world of difference, and don't overcook your veggies. Leave the life in them....the texture and brightness means you are actually getting the nutrients in the veggie rather than boiling them away. So half veggies.....lean protein the size of a deck of cards and a healthy carb the size of your fist. This plan keeps you from binging and then feeling guilty. You are eating every 2 hours and in turn you never get to the level 10 hunger. When you eat you should feel about a 5-7 never stuffed! Another great tip is brush your teeth after you are done with your meal. It's great for your smile and oreos do not taste good after a good minty brush. Also gum is a good option too....sugarless of course. Also drink lots of water and get some great mix in's for your water.....pink lemonade...all different 5 calorie drinks you just mix in your glass or water bottle. They taste great and keep you drinking your water plus they fight off the sweet tooth. Lastly never punish yourself for eating that cookie or that slice of pizza. One meal will not defeat your goals...just make your next meal extra healthy and keep it going!! Good luck and you can email me anytime!!

small frequent meals throughout the day. don't stress yourself over your baby weight yet. focus on the baby and if you continue to eat healthy (for both of you if you are brest-feeding) your weight will melt off with time. Congrats on losing the 30 lbs! I had my daughter 17 months ago and I'm just now getting back to my pre-baby weight. Lots of baby websites can help. Parenting.com, americanbaby.com, and verybestbaby.com...

Hope this helps some. Congratulations! :)
