A croissant is much more fattening. The main item in a croissant is butter which is used as a leavening agent 100%. Muffin has calories but nothing compared to a croissant. I used to make the croissant dough: it is like 8 pounds of butter to maybe 3 pounds of flour. This is what makes a croissant taste so good but its worth it

That depends on the muffin. Croissants are high in carbs because it's considered a "white bread". A whole grain or wheat muffin is far better for you, however, if it's a choc, chip Muffin or a super sized muffin, the muffin could be worse. Check the package labels and compare.

I think normal sized croissant is more fattening when compare with strawberry (or blueberry) muffin. But triple chocolate muffin could be more fattening than croissant.

Well it would depend of course on what kind of muffin, but we'll assume it's your average coffee shop muffin and your average croissant.
By weight, a croissant definitely has more fat, however a muffin weighs a LOT more than a muffin, so one regular sized muffin has more fat than one regular sized croissant.
Your best bet of course would be a home-made fat-free or low-fat muffin!

Croissant by far....... A croissant has a ton of butter in it. 1croissant has 10 g of fat, 180 calories 90 of which are fat calories, 2.5 g saturated fat, 2.5 g of trans fat, 370 mg sodium, 20 g carbs.
I would imagine that that a bran muffin is considerably less.

Croissant has more fat to make the dough flaky....on the other hand muffins are bigger, I'd check the label.

I would say muffins are the worst. It also depends on what kind as well. Muffins are loaded with carbs. See links below.
