I totally believe it is possible. I have seen many examples. NO-body is perfectly happy all the time but hopefully all of you nay-sayers have known at least one elderly couple that still enjoy and love each other. My parents have been married 60+ years and they still kiss and snuggle. They are very sweet together. All of their friends are the same way together too. (People surround themselves with similar types of people- My parents picked happy people to associate with) It is a joy to listen to them and their friends all reminiscing about their younger days, they smile, and still flash romantic sparkly looks at their other halves.
My Grandmother always used to say the way to stay in love is to close all the exits. If divorce is not an option and sex outside the marriage is not an option then the partners HAVE to make up and find away to get along-- Maybe this didn't always happen but I know at least 10 couples that it did work for!

Sure, it's rare, but it's out there. Some people are lucky enough to find it. True love is working together to overcome any and all problems that come your way for the rest of your lives together. That is what is meant by 'for better or worse' .

count me in. people can have more than one experiences of finding the person that they'll love but there'll come a point wherein after all the searching and the sighing if it's real or not, you'll start believing that the person who's with you romanticallywise is the one who's meant for you and whom God gave you to cherish for the rest of your life.

Not I, People change to much, you first fall in love with someone, and a few years down the road you finally figuare out who the real person is, and its not the person you feel in love with, and you're ready to move on with life, and they aren't.

Just about anyone can have that. As long as both partners are both willing to work at it.
Even if "fate" and "soulmates" are real, it's still goig to take work to make a relationship work out.
