That would depend on your undertones. There lots of types of "dark skin": anywhere from Oprah to Alec Wek to Naomi Campbell. I'd say between a berry/ burgundy red and a deep auburn. Nothing too light or bright though, because it will look very loud and unatural. Just be sure to have it done by a pro in a salon you trust- they'll be able to give yuo a good recommendation.

very dark hair like jet black or almost blue really brings out dark skin really well. A cinnamon colour is nice too
