I believe that God inspired the scientists--just as I believe that evolution is real, and part of God's plan.

Provable physics and superstitious religious dogma do not belong in a textbook together. When will you Christians realize you cannot use the bible to prove what the bible says. The bible has no authority. I can prove the laws of physics by physically showing you examples. you cannot prove random quotes specific to the people and situations in the bible are relevant to today by showing me where in the bible these quotes are listed. I don't know how else to explain it. Its called circular logic. I know your tired of hearing it, but I am tired of explaining it too. You cannot say "god wrote the bible because the bible says so".
where exactly does the bible say this? (science has it's end)
The ONLY people I know who confuse and relate science and religion are theists. And they do so desperately trying to rationalize their belief systems...who wants to be wrong

*laugh* How do you suppose science will "end"? And by the way, you better hope that it doesn't. It's because of science that we know about things like hormone replacement. When our bodies don't produce enough of the necessary hormones, hormones that keep our body functional, we have tests to verify and pills to take that will correct this problem. This is just one of an unfathomable myriad of life-saving benefits we reap from scientific discovery and advancement.
Would YOU like to be the one to tell your relatives and friends currently dependent on medical science that the thing that has either saved their life or kept it bearable that "science" is going to one day... just... *poof* into oblivion? Are they really going to believe that a LOVING god would want this to happen??

Oh my--where to begin?
Science is not a subject into which people are trying to squeeze God. This is false.
The Bible is interpreted in many different ways, according to subjective judgements of individuals.
Some people, like yourself, want the Bible to answer every question for them. Others don't. To each his own, why not?
You choose to believe in what sounds like a mostly literal interpretation of the Bible. Ok, that's fine.
You think that science is your enemy. Ok, that fine, too.
Remember that next time you or your kid needs an emergency room -- just tell them -- no 20th century medicine for me -- I prefer Medieval bloodletting!!! (Sure . . . )
You assert that scientists are against discussions of God.
This is not true. Some scientists believe in God, others don't.
Believing in God is not antithetical to trusting in science.
For many people (most, actually,) they go hand-in-hand.
So there.
Of course I dont expect you to pick my answer, and I actually prefer when I get your 'thumbs down', because usually I give thumbs down to most of your answers.

Well, I believe in science because science save people (medicine, biology, genetic...). Without science you wouldn't talk to me through computer. We would still be in the Middle Ages. I don't see the work of the God. The Bible can't convince me.

Science is the search for reality. Religion is the search for a comforting buffer between reality and man, a blanket to be pulled over the heads of the anxious and pusillanimous.

One day the Earth is going to end, so all the categories should be merged. You can bring God into any subject, including devil's food cake recipes. Why not just rename Y!A to Y!R&S.

Science will end? Eventually, when there are no more questions to ask or possible theories to test, it will stop changing and take on some of the aspects of religious dogma...but that could take a significant part of forever. I highly doubt that Christianity will survive that long.

I would love to see this passage that predicts a discipline of learning that did not exist when the Bible was written will end some day.
Where can one find this extraordinary prediction?

Actually, it will be the exact opposite.
Just as Roman and Greek gods died in the past, so will Christian and Muslim gods.
Science lives forever. Magnetic fields, gravity, and electric potential will exist long after man becomes extinct and the last god dies.
