Okay, just got married and I adored my shoes (do NOT buy into this nonsense that you can't find comfortable "wedding" shoes.)
1. If you have your heart set on white or ivory shoes (or custom color shoes), then it's fairly easy to order them online because dyeable shoe lines often offer wide (and even extra wide) styles. You can even search based on these criteria.
Check out

or just do a search on dyeables or dyeable shoes. They have lots of options for flats and even low heels with a cute open toe.
Zappos.com is another good resource though I wasn't thrilled with their prices
2. Buy yourself some Foot Petals. They really work and come in all kinds of colors. I found mine and Nordstroms. I used the strappy strapz and the little cushions for the ball of the foot. They're awesome (and they stick to satin better than Dr. Scholls). http://footpetals.com
3. Finally, I custom ordered my wedding shoes from SteveMadden.com for just $99 through their "Design Your Own" (DYO) collection. I ordered the "Couger" wedge which is a sandal and made my size 9 feet look postively dainty. (I wanted height and these gave me at least 3 inches.) I ordered a silver upper (straps) and shimmery gold wedge. I know they sound a bit tacky but they were totally adorable and so easy to walk in! The great thing about a wedge is that they're easier to balance on then regular heels. Plus, they don't sink into the grass like other heels. They take about 3 weeks to get to you once you order.
And a few final words of advice:
1. Get your shoes quickly so that you can practice walking and dancing in them and break them in.
2. If you're wearing a floor-length gown, NO ONE is going to notice your feet. If you're still worried, then get one pair of gorgeous shoes for pictures and (if you must) the walk down the aisle, then switch into something more comfortable for the reception.
3. These days, brides aren't opting for white shoes as often. There are lots of great metallic options out there or, if you're feeling, adventurous, you could wear blue shoes for your something blue.
Good luck!

You could wear simple flats, or you could wear ballerina slippers, I think they are adorable and comfortable. Plus, this is your wedding, do what you want. I ended up getting just a 2 inch heel, but a friend of mine had her little sister decorate a pair of white flip flops! Anything is doable, especially if you have a floor length dress. Good luck. Also the shoes you think are comfortable, may end up being horrendous, as in my case. I went barefoot through my entire reception.

lol me too! well I'm only 17 and I'm not getting married, but I am 5'3" and wear wide width shoes. I would suggest something like ballerina shoes that have ribbon to tie part way up your leg. that would be flat and comfortable. even check at a payless if there is one where you live. they usually have a good variety of shoes :)
good luck and congratulations!

About the Gauss
By multiplying an equation through by a constant and adding it to another equation, one can eliminate the front variables to clear out column 1 of all but one variable. For example, in the diagram at the top, one can place E2 2 E1 into row 2 to eliminate the x1 term from E2. This can be performed for the other rows as well to clear out the first column below E1. Gaussian elimination then proceeds with a similar operation for column 2, with rows under E2 being cleared out and so on, until the remaining shape is triangular.

i know it sounds weird but i am wearing a pair of knee high white boots, they are super comfy and i have had mini beads and pearls and sequins stuck to them- they now match my dress. i am getting married in November so it is bound to be cold - don't feel pressured into buying bridal shoes just because you are getting married. buy some that are comfortable - you can always decorate them - cover in lace or satin.... cheap and easy to do at home, or take them to a cobbler and have them do it.... hope this helps and good luck...

Wedding shoes are never comfortable. I did the best I could, and then I wore them all day the day before the wedding. The next day, I had lots of blisters, but I was able to cushion them with bandaids before putting the shoes back on. That actually made them more comfortable, and I was able to keep them on all day.

Honestly, you're going to be most comfortable in flip-flops...especially if you're wearing a large dress that covers any view of your tootsies!! Why not be ultra-comfy and go for beach footware?? More often than not, this is what the brides choose to do...
