take up an activity that you've always dreamed of doing. You 1. might someone who inevitably has the same interest you do and 2. if you don't- hey! you got to do that special thing! If not, try asking friends, or joining a youth group or going on a summer program such as a teen tour- you are sure to meet cool people your age! Good luck! I hope this helps. And just remember- all of us girls under 21 are having the same problem you are- you are not alone!

Meet people at the local pool or sporting events. Everywhere people congregate is a good place to go. Go to have fun and they will find you. If you go to look you won't get anywhere. The real trick is getting out of the house. They are not going to be banging down your door. You have to put yourself out there.
