I know Spag' Bol is a bit of a culinary cliche, but it's easy and uses mince. If he's been away as long as a week, dare I suggest that he's going to need some red meat for later? BOLOGNESE SAUCE Enough for spaghetti for 2 INGREDIENTS 2 cloves of garlic 2 onions 1 tablespoon of olive oil 500g of minced beef 400g tin of plum tomatoes* 1 beef stock cube 2 teaspoons of oregano or mixed herbs Ground pepper to taste METHOD Peel the garlic and chop it into tiny pieces. Peel the onions and chop them into tiny pieces. Put the oil into a frying pan on a medium heat. Add the garlic and onion. Fry the garlic and onion for about 2 minutes. Stir frequently to stop it sticking. Put the meat into the pan and fry for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring all the time. By this time, it should have broken up and be an even colour, with no pink bits. Open the tin of tomatoes. Pour the juice into the pan. Chop the tomatoes while they are still in the can (it’s easier than chasing them around the pan). Pour the chopped tomatoes into the pan. Crumble the stock cube into the pan. Add the herbs. Season with the pepper. Mix thoroughly. Continue to cook, stirring as the mixture boils, until the sauce has reduced. ADDITIONS & ALTERNATIVES Use minced lamb, pork or turkey instead of minced beef. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese. TIPS Always “take the pasta to the sauce”. Put the cooked pasta in the pan with the sauce and stir together until thoroughly coated. * Plum tomatoes can be used either whole or chopped. It is difficult to stick chopped tomatoes back together again if you need to use them whole.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMmvO

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Hey, this is for those of you who have answered this question:

GET A CLUE!!!

Macaroni, Lasagna and spaghetti are ALL pastas!! She said they were sick of it!! DUH!!

The stir fry sounds like the best idea.
You can make a homemade stir fry even if you don't have a Wok. Here's how:

What you'll need:

Three Tablespoons of Olive oil
1/4 cup of Soy Sauce
One Fresh Onion
Four cloves of fresh Garlic
A stock of Celery
Two medium stocks of Broccoli
One Green Pepper
One Red Pepper
A can of Shallots
A pound of Steak (can be cheap cut or stew meat)
1 1/4 cup of rice.
Four cups of water.
Large fry pan.
Medium Sauce pan.

Preparation:

Start boiling rice in the sauce pan with the water.
Cut the Onion and peppers into quarter inch strips.
Cut Celery at an angle into quarter inch pieces.
Finely dice Garlic.
Cut meat into thin strips.

In a large skillet add Olive oil and let sear at medium heat for one minute.
Add garlic and three tablespoons of Soy Sauce.
Let simmer for three minutes.
Add meat. Let Cook for three minutes. Constantly flipping.
Add veggies and let cook for another 15 to 20 minutes, constantly flipping.
Add rest of Soy Sauce and let simmer TWO MINUTES!! Keep flipping while it cooks so it will mix in well.

DO NOT OVER COOK SOY SAUCE!!
THIS IS FOR TASTE!!

Put mix over rice and...

Enjoy!!

Try porkchops and macaroni and cheese!!! You sautee an onion in butter, then brown the chops in the mixture. Make the mac and cheese according to box directions and place in a baking dish. Top with browned chops and onion. Cover and bake until the chops are cooked thru. Add a green vegetable and enjoy!

sounds like you like to stretch your dollar with those choices! I would suggest a huge pot of chilli! or homemade soup (you can even use a soup starter) its cold and those would warm you up for little money! if you are somewhere warm I would suggest tacos, they are fun and pretty cheap and very easy.
