Can anyone help please?
We have lost the software disc to our HP 3940 printer.
Does anybody have the knowledge to download this on to a disc please?

Select the software you need for you printer from
http://www.shopping.hp.com
and click on download when you find your printer and then the driver. Select "save" (not run) and select your CD burner as the destination. The setup file will remain there and when it says run, after downloading, do so and install from the CD. You will have a permanent copy of the set up file for the driver.

search on the hp website or google for HP 3940 printer software. usually you can download the software off the HP website but finding it through google is easier.

Anything you need should be relatively easily accessible at www.hp.com. Just click on support and downloads. You are looking for the driver for your particular printer, just follow the directions laid out for you and you should be printing in no time.

put in the model number of your printer
and download the drive for that back the drive up on too (cd) then install the drivers for your printer.

You'll find all the required software there..or else search for it in google.
