This is another way of saying:

Which is true, "Creation or Evolution?" or "Does God exist?"

Genesis 1.20-23

"And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

And the evening and the morning were the fifth day."

According to the above text, on the fifth day, God created birds (FULLY DEVELOPED) from the oceans. The birds living on earth today are their direct descendants.

chicken,
When God created the earth, he didnt just put a bunch of eggs everywhere, only to hatch and not have what it takes to survive. so of course chickens come first! then they lay eggs!

Had to be the egg, otherwise who laid the chicken.

No one really knows for sure. Many people are still trying to figure that out. I don't even know!

God came first and went from there --so guess you are going to have to ask him that to know for sure--but keep in mind that He has more intelligent questions to answer-- :-)
