Do you think the belief that there is a conspiracy by scientists to deny god comes from the fact that most sceintists simply agree that evolution is an accurate scientific theory? How does this contrast with the wide range of creationist theories (young earth, old earth, god created through evolution etc.)?

Sorry, I have misued the word theories above when applying it to christian 'scientists'. In that instance I mean it more in the colloquial sense of the word.
I guess my question is, do you think it looks like a conspiracy just because the verdict is in and there isn't any more debate on the matter? Sure the specifics are still being ironed out to a degree, but there are hardly any biologists who would deny evolution as being accurate.

I think it's beyond b.s. Any scientist would love to be the one who proved god's existence.

I don't think this issue is simply restricted to scientists or any particular group and their is certainly no "conspiracy" about it. Contrasting different theories on the matter is also an excercise in futility. What this all boils down to is faith.
Put simply, many people (including many scientists) believe what can be proven using factual data. It is, of course, impossible to prove that God created anything and (at least so far) that he/she actually even exists. However, there are also people who are willing and committed to believing that God does exist and that he created everything, even in the absence of any factual proof of this belief. That is faith.
This argument will never be resolved as long as some people believe in something because they were brought up that way and others will only believe that which can be "scientifically" proven. Creationists have no provable basis for their beliefs and Evolutionists will never be able to change their minds as long as they have faith.

Sorry, there is no conspiracy by scientists to deny God, rotflmao. You can be a Christian and believe in evolution or the Bang or any number of other theories.
I know that the Atheists would like to think scientists are on their side but they are not. Of the scientists I know in my community, at my school, in my church, at my doctor's office...there is not one atheist among them. SW

The thought of a conspiracy by scientists is an attack on science, education, and society in general. Scientists are trying to find facts regardless of if the Bible's God or Zeus exists or not.

Yes. The bible doesn't say how God created the Heavens and the Earth but that he spoke them into existence. So the big bang, evoluiton, etc.. could be possible. The bible also says a day is as a thousand years. We just don't know and never will until he reveals it all to us. So I want argue with you about the Big BANG, God probably said it. Thats good enough for me.

The basic matter is that only the real story has evidence to back it up. Most religious evidence comes from a book, or books, written by mainly unknown authours from unknown times in history and that has been edited an unknonw number of times since then.

If there is a vast evolutionary conspiracy, why don't I get invited to the secret meetings?
There are no Creationist theories -- just hypotheses. In order to be theories, they must make predictions that can be tested.

If scientists really are in a conspiracy, then there wouldn't b mounds of supporting evidence for their studies (which there are) and many supporting independent researchers (both christian and not).
So, there isn't a scientific conspiracy.

Sorry, I don't have enough time for more than one conspiracy at a time. The conspiracy to deny the Easter Bunny takes too much of my working time as it is.

I do not believe in such a conspiracy. I believe that the Bible is true. I keep things very simple. I study and I like to hear things from different ankles, but I am confident that the Bible record is true.
